Welcome to the Arden’s Spring Digital Season!

Over the past few months, and throughout the spring, we are creating four new projects:

  • A new radio play.
  • A filmed version of a play we had originally planned to produce in our theatre.
  • A video cabaret featuring two beloved Philadelphia actresses.
  • And a second video cabaret featuring the original work of a local singer/songwriter.

Our mission is to tell great stories by great storytellers, and these four projects give you an opportunity to get to know – or know better – brilliant Philadelphia storytellers.  And each of these mediums allows for a different kind of immediacy and intimacy.  When I listen to the radio play version of 74 SECONDS…TO JUDGMENT, I am inside the jury room.  In the video cabarets, I get to know these artists – Robi Hager, Joilet Harris and Mary Martello – and their passions in a different way.  And the filmed version of NO CHILD featuring the remarkable Taysha Canales is reconceived to draw upon the unique opportunities that the camera can provide.  We are learning new skills, working new muscles, and what we are discovering will inform our work for many years to come.

Thank you for joining us on this journey.  And if you connect with what you experience, please help spread the word.  We would really appreciate that.

Throughout this past year, I have continued to return to seeking hope, looking for that that light at the end of the tunnel.  These artists are that hope.  They find ways to respond to the new challenges and see new opportunities, and I am so grateful that they are sharing their stories with us all right now.

Terry

At the end of this digital stagebill is information on our Dining Partners.  Please take a look at these amazing restaurants and their offerings.  They are such an important part of our community and would love your support right now.  Please tell them the Arden sent you.
