Registration Now Open for Arden Drama School Summer Camp

Wide Range of Camp Options Available for Grades 1-5, 6-8 and 9 – 12

(Philadelphia, PA) Arden Theatre Company announces open registration for summer camp classes through Arden Drama School. Camp classes are held at the Hamilton Family Arts Center, 62 N. 2nd Street, Old City, Philadelphia. Camp weeks begin June 27, 2016 and end the week of August 29, 2016. The last day of camp is Friday, September 2, 2016.

Arden Summer Camp provides access to Philadelphia’s top theatre artists.

Children in grades 1 – 5 explore creativity and learn collaboration through one-week themed drama camps including Star Wars and Harry Potter-themed weeks, in addition to Comedy Camp, Design Camp, Dance Camp and more.

Camps for children in grades 6 – 8 are one and two weeks in length and include Rockstar, Acting, Musical Theatre, Playwrighting and Comedy.

Kids in grades 9 – 12 can enjoy one-day Master Classes, multi-week camps focused on taking technique to the next level and a four-week musical theatre studio where they rehearse for a fully-realized show. Sketch Comedy, Acting, Musical Theatre, Master Classes and Arden Coffee House are all being offered.

An early-bird discount for up to $35 in savings is available if you register before March 1, 2016. Additional savings are offered for booking multiple weeks of camp ($100 savings for each additional week booked.) Camp spaces fill up quickly so early registration is encouraged.

Camp weeks range in price from $50 for a one-day Master Class to $400 weekly. Camp hours vary by age group, but extended care is offered for a small fee.

Founded in 1988, Arden Theatre Company is dedicated to bringing to life great stories by great storytellers–on the stage, in the classroom, and in the community. For accessibility efforts, the Arden was named a “Keystone of Accessibility” by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
