Summer Theatre Camp

The Arden offers five sessions of action-packed summer theatre camp, including acting and design classes, culminating in a Camp Show for family and friends. Check out our two-week sessions with field trips! Space is limited, so register early.

Summer Camp Sessions: Grades 1 - 5

BEACHES AND BOARDWALKS (one-week camp)

Mon, June 24- Fri, June 28 • 9:30am - 4:30pm*

$400 (includes camp t-shirt)

Imaginations run wild as campers create their very own adventure story. Campers must have completed a year of Kindergarten.

BACK TO THE FUTURE (one or two-week camp)

Grades 1 - 5
TWO-WEEK SESSION:
Mon, July 8 – Fri, July 19 (Weekdays only) • 9:30 - 4:30pm*

ONE-WEEK OPTION:

Your kids will travel through their very own time machine to create a story set in the past, present or future. This camp includes one field trip day to the Franklin Institute. Campers must have completed a year of Kindergarten.

ISLAND VOYAGES (one or two-week camp)

This two week camp’s theme centers on explorers, pirates and treasures. This camp includes one field trip day to the Independence Seaport Museum including pirate exhibits. Campers must have completed a year of Kindergarten.

LET THE GAMES BEGIN (one or two-week camp)

Inspired by their favorite sports, videogames, board games, or amusement park, campers will create a story all about play. This camp includes one field trip day to the Franklin Square Park, which includes playgrounds, a mini-golf course and the Liberty Carousel. Campers must have completed a year of Kindergarten.

ONCE UPON A TIME (one or two-week camp)

What happens when your kids’ favorite characters meet each other in the same story? Harry Potter, Robin Hood, Junie B. Jones, Captain Hook and others will inspire your kids to imagine new versions of their favorite tales. This camp includes one field trip day to the Please Touch Museum. Campers must have completed a year of Kindergarten.

EXTENDED DAY SERVICE
The Arden provides before and after care for children attending Summer Theatre Camp. Extended Day runs Monday-Friday, 8:00am-9:30am and 4:30pm-6pm. These hours will be supervised but there will not be camp programming. Extended Day services are $7 per morning or evening session ($14/day). Please call 215.922.1122 for more information.

Arden Kids' Crew provides fun, high quality interactive theatre classes that enliven imaginations, get kids working together, and instill a lifelong love of theatre. All classes are taught by professional teaching theatre artists with a penchant and talent for teaching kids! Arden Kids' Crew classes develop speaking, problem-solving, and listening skills while increasing confidence and self-esteem.
