A very helpful explanation about the importance of the Seder questions, and how they apply to modern situations. Thank you, Leigh.
How fortunate for this cast to have your family as mentors.

To the Arden Staff:
I thoroughly enjoyed August: Osage County. Though its location was placed in Osage County, it is a timeless representation of family life that takes place all over the earth. This slice of life play portrayed many of the antics of families everywhere and is a timeless piece of literature. I laughed so hard at myself, my family, and the families of many of my friends. I laughed and felt exhilarated for hours. Terry, keep up the good work.

I love lemon bars made from scratch (so much better than store bought or made from a box). I think they are even better if you do use the juice from freshly squeezed lemons, and real butter -- it's close to way my mom used to make them. This is a nice recipe that takes me back to those days.

Will we not be honest, now, and admit that there is no such variation in the betting order as described in any actual game of poker, whether played by North Dubliners or anyone else; and that the playwright, not being a poker player himself, simply got it wrong? The betting of "anything you like" on the other hand is very proper: if the house rules allow it, it is no more than a variant of the old game of table stakes.

I worked there for 13 years, met my husband there. He worked there 23 years. My uncles ran the pet store on the 8th floor next to the toy department. My grandmother sold fashionable hats there. Wanamakers is in my blood!
