Dear Chris,
Thanks for you comment. Yes, we have been tracking RED since it started rehearsals in London. It is unlikely rights will be available anytime soon, but we are keeping an eye on it.

Dear Ed,

I write this with the utmost certainty and fervor about the brand new play straight from Donmar in London: "RED." It's just opened on Broadway and is the best play I have hands down ever seen. I have seen a lot of plays and have probably given a standing ovation to one. This one. I wouldn't waste my time writing this if I didn't mean every ounce of this. It's a new play by John Logan (he is better known for screenplays "The Aviator" "The Gladiator" "The Last Samurai") It's a two hander, a young apprentice and the artist Rothko, the abstract impressionistic painter. It speaks of art, of originality and authenticity. It is beauty, it is powerful, it would be perfect for the mainstage. GRANTED the young apprentice is someone I would love to play but I say this because it would rock The Arden off the map. Matt Ocks saw it and can vouch. I would recommend going to see it soon. I have a copy of the script if it is not yet in print. Call me with any questions 619.980.7960

Sincerely,
Chris Bresky
